When I saw Felix and Lucy with their bright couture, awesome hair, and big smiles I was already inspired! These expressions were easy to capture in my play room and these two just wanted to have fun. I hope to see them again soon in their hometown of Orlando!

I have been shooting this Rhode Island family for a few years now, and watching as they add new babies one by one….and they keep getting cuter each time I see them! These kiddos also have the BEST eyelashes…I have eyelash envy for sure!

Lily and Lucy came over today in these adorable little dresses and were true models braving the unexpected cold weather. I am normally not an advocate for any type of additional reward for having a photo shoot BUT sometimes, when someone is having a little trouble getting motivated, a little treat goes a long way. Lollipops totally worked this time…big cheers for (occasional) candy treats!

I have not seen Miss Charlotte in a couple of years so I was SO happy when she came over today for a session with her lovely mama. If she was local, she would be one of my muses, for sure! Thank you for a fun time, Char~

She is six months old and posing for her second shoot with me! Six months is such a wonderful age…babies are sitting up, smiling, and full of personality. Even better, they stay in one place, which is pretty much the last time for well, forever! How sweet is little Mia?

I have been photographing Miss Abby since she was just a few days old and today she is walking around and exploring like the toddler she is! We were luck to have truly perfect natural light today too, which always makes me super excited because it is so rare here.
By the way, I have been cutting back on the number of shoots I accept and will continue to do so over the next month as we prepare for my six year old’s spine surgery. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal as soon as possible. I appreciate all of the supportive notes and emails so much, thank you!

I have not seen Bronson since he was a newborn, and today we had his one year old shoot with his awesome mom and dad joining in on the fun. Wow, I did not expect he would go from a dark brunette to a strawberry blonde! This little man is 150% busy, he did not want to stay in one place more than a few seconds and he definitely kept his mom and dad on their toes. I have so many super fun portraits of him….it was hard to choose which ones to blog~

Our mini sessions are now open! Dates are:
February 22 & March 15
Here’s the scoop: Mini Sessions are $295, for 1-3 children only and last about 15-20 minutes. We will work on loction, all around the CityPlace studio, using natural light. Each session includes one 8×12 portrait, an online slideshow gallery with at least 10 great images, and in-studio order session. All studio products are available for purchase a la carte, including prints, gallery wrap canvases, albums, and more.
Because of limited availability, sessions will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
Please email the studio with your preferred date and time to reserve your space. We look forward to seeing you!

Alex and Asia came by today to show me their new puppy, Buttercup. How adorable is this little girl? I think getting a new pet is the PERFECT time for a photoshoot….those doggies grow faster than kids! Who doesn’t want to remember that squishy, new puppy stage forever?
