waiting for the holidays….

I photographed these rockstars brothers today at CityPlace, and they were the best! Mom and dad came and helped out so much to get those “real” smiles and to make the shoot super fun for us. Such a cool family~

model subjects

I have way too many favorites of these stunning twins and their little sister…they were a dream to work with too, so happy and easy going. With those qualities and their mama’s great sense of style, a successful shoot is pretty much guaranteed. Thank you, awesome B. family!

growing up together

I haven’t seen Evie and Wade since last year and wow, they are SO big and adorable! I have been shooting these twins since they were teeny and I enjoy seeing them grow and change, while always remaining connected to each other. This time, their personalities were quite unmistakeable and I think it shows in the images…I can’t wait to see them again next time!

mr. personality

I am so happy this little man came by the studio for portraits. Four months old is such a fun age and I do not see many babies between newborn and six months, so I enjoyed our time together. Lawson is a very fun guy….I have the silliest photo of him, but I am waiting to post that one because I want his mama to be the first to see it. I will share it here soon ….

for the photographers: learnfest '09

Registration opened Nov 15 at noon….update: 3 hours later, all 60 spots are filled.

Thanks for your amazing support!

After a hugely successful Learnfest ‘08, I am thrilled to announce Learnfest ‘09 with my fabulous co-presenters, Audrey Woulard, Laura Novak and Tamara Lackey.

You can view more details on [link]http://www.thelearnfest.com/=the learnfest website[/link] and be sure to see “the buzz” section for what our ‘08 attendees are saying!

we are on a first & last name basis

Two more girls who I have been photographing since they were newborns, Christina and Allison are pretty used to me by now. I love how Christina always calls me “Lena Hyde” when we talk…she says, “Hey, Lena Hyde! Do you want to go outside?” or “Come see my room, Lena Hyde!” Her mom says she even does that when I am not there, when they talk about the photos on the walls…so funny!

holiday card crunch time

We make over 10,000 holiday cards each season for our clients…and if you live in Palm Beach county, I bet you will see some of these in your mailbox soon! If you have already had a session this year, now is the time to order your cards. Our turn around time is no more than three weeks, if you place your order before Thanksgiving. We hope to hear from you!

cousins…

Forgive my absence from the blog. I have been traveling and shooting like mad for the past week. It’s that time of year…

I had two shoots with these cousins…back to back with a few in between! I have worked with Miss Stella before when she was tiny, and today she showed me some of her walking abilities. Love how the big boys are so sweet with her!

Kyle's hood

I cannot remember the last time I had an only child shoot, what a snap! I always love working with Kyle…he is such a sweet little boy and so laid back. This time, we had to work around the rain showers…lucky for us we were able to get a ton of great shots around the neighborhood, which has the most spectacular old oak trees shading the road.
